Saint Michael’s College Graduate Education offers the Special Educator Endorsement through multiple paths. Those interested in earning an initial teaching license as a special educator must pursue the program. Those who hold a teaching license without a master's degree may pursue either the program or the program. Candidates who already have a master’s degree are advised to pursue this (CAGS) program.

Students must pursue one of the three endorsements listed in the endorsements tab:

  • Special Educator Endorsement, Grades K-8

  • Special Educator Endorsement, Grade 7-Age 21

  • Special Educator Endorsement, Grades K-Age 21

The required coursework for all three endorsements is the same and is listed in the requirements tab.
