Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Advancement at Saint Michael’s College connects alumni, parents, and friends of the College, engaging them as dedicated volunteers and benefactors. Through its outreach and development efforts, the office secures vital resources that help the College offer competitive financial aid packages and enrich both academic and student life programs. Institutional Advancement oversees several key areas, including annual giving, major and planned gifts, corporate and foundation support, alumni and parent relations, and advancement services.

  • The Saint Michael’s Fund is the College’s top fundraising priority. It provides immediate and flexible support for current programs, allowing the College to meet evolving student needs. Contributions to the Fund help sustain and strengthen financial aid, scholarships, academic and student life programs, technology, athletics, and more.

  • The Major and Planned Gifts Office focuses on securing transformational current and deferred gifts that will benefit both today’s students and future generations.

  • The Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement coordinates events and volunteer opportunities for Saint Michael’s vibrant community of 20,000+ alumni and parents. Signature events such as class reunions, Homecoming, and Family Weekend offer chances to return to campus, reconnect with friends, and celebrate the unique bonds of the Saint Michael’s experience. In addition, regional alumni clubs host regular gatherings throughout the year.

Alumni and parents are invited to get involved through a range of volunteer opportunities, including career mentoring, event hosting, reunion and club leadership, and more. The office also partners closely with the Alumni Board to connect students with alumni and parents for internships, networking, and employment opportunities.
