Program Description

The Global Health minor offers students an interdisciplinary exploration of the international distribution of health outcomes, resources, and burdens, as well as the systems that shape them. Through the study of global health care delivery, international trade, governance, migration, and cultural norms, students gain a deeper understanding of the complex forces influencing global health. The program equips students to analyze critical issues such as the spread of pandemics, the unequal distribution of medications and health care workers, and the growing health impacts of political violence and climate change.
