Program Description

Saint Michael’s College offers a state-approved Master of Arts in Teaching program for licensed teachers that leads to an additional Multilingual Learner endorsement. Grounded in principles of equity and inclusion, Saint Michael's TESOL programs emphasize linguistically and culturally responsive teaching. Coursework integrates current research in language acquisition, linguistics, and language assessment, preparing graduates to support multilingual learners in a variety of educational contexts. Field experiences provide opportunities to apply strategies in real-world classrooms under the guidance of experienced mentors.
