Program Description

The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) minor provides foundational education that supports the knowledge, skills and clinical decision-making required for pre-hospital providers. The EMS Minor prepares students for patient-facing volunteer and employment opportunities that fulfil the requirements for post-graduate clinical programs (MD, PA, RN). The EMS Minor is interdisciplinary and complements multiple areas of study including Health Sciences, Public Health, and Psychology.
