Program Description

The Health Equity minor at Saint Michael’s College offers students the opportunity to critically examine the unequal distribution of health care and resources needed for healthy living, both locally and globally. The program equips students with the analytical tools to explore issues such as racial disparities in health outcomes, the relationship between poverty and disease, and the ways in which intersecting forms of discrimination create barriers to health care access.
