Program Description

Sociology and Anthropology majors gain a deep understanding of the complexities of social life through reading, discussion, and hands-on research. Their work takes place not only in classrooms, libraries, and labs, but also in real-world settings-workplaces, soup kitchens, hospitals, corporations, stadiums, and homes. Through this immersive study, students learn to apply the insights of these extraordinary fields to better understand themselves and their relationships to the broader society.
