Program Description

The Saint Michael's Biochemistry majors begin doing meaningful work from their first year of study. All faculty are actively involved in research and excited to mentor students in their laboratories and supervise independent research projects initiated by students. The breadth of scholarly topics reflects the diversity of the College's faculty and student body. Paid research opportunities are funded by competitive grants awarded to Saint Michael's topnotch science faculty by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and private foundations.
