Program Description

The East Asian Studies minor at Saint Michael’s College offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the history, politics, societies, cultures, and languages of East and South Asia. Drawing on courses from History, Modern Languages, Religious Studies, and Anthropology, the program provides students with a broad understanding of the region’s complexity and global significance. The minor enhances a wide range of majors and serves as valuable preparation for careers in government, international organizations, education, business, medicine, science, and technology.
