ED 350 - Trauma-Informed Educational Practice In this course students explore the nature of trauma and the impact this can have on the learning, development and behavior of children. Students also examine a range of strategies for supporting children, including recognizing signs of trauma, specific triggers for individual children, early intervention and coping strategies. In addition, students will reflect on the role of the educator and guidance counselor in supporting children and young people within the school community.
