EN 326 - Old English This class teaches students to read and translate Old English texts. Beginning with basic grammar, the course moves into translation, first of prose and eventually poetry. The semester culminates in a full-scale study of Beowulf. The course covers literary and cultural issues in addition to language.
Credits: 4
Prerequisites/Restrictions: EN 200 recommended.
