BI 106 - Topics in Cellular and Molecular Biology This lecture and laboratory course will focus on topics pertaining to the cellular level of biological organization. Examples of specific topics that may be explored in a given semester are: the cellular basis of health and disease; human genetics and inheritance; cancer; biotechnology, including the study of the moral implications of the rapidly evolving technology; the immune system; origin of life; reproduction and development.

Prerequisites/Restrictions: Not open to Biology/Biochemistry/Environmental Science/Environmental Studies/Health Science/Neuroscience/Pre-Pharmacy Majors or Biology Minors (Restriction will be released for Open Registration period).
Fee: Dependent on Topic

Notes: This course is a laboratory course designed for students who are not science majors and may not be counted toward the biology major or minor.
