AL 244 - Teaching Reading and Writing Skills in a Second/Foreign Language

The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding of current theories in teaching reading and writing in a second/foreign language to adults of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. It discusses the skills language learners need, and presents methods and curricular assessment techniques to teach these skills.
