ED 271 - Adolescent Development in a Culturally Responsive Classroom Provides an analysis of early, middle, and late adolescence through an exploration of cognitive, social, emotional, moral, physical, and language development from a cultural perspective. This course emphasizes diverse cultural contexts that impact development and learning, and teaching methods which are responsive to both individuals and the learning communities.

Prerequisites/Restrictions: ED 231; ED Majors/Minors/Licensure Students Only

Notes: Includes a weekly field-placement working with an English language learner. Students will not receive credit for both PS 253 & ED 271.
