BU 216 - Finance

BU 216 is the required finance course for the Business Administration and Accounting programs. The course provides an overview of key finance principles and practices relevant to business decision-making and presents students with the finance tools necessary to develop the knowledge and skills currently in demand by employers.

Credits: 4

Prerequisites/Restrictions: AC-143 and EC-101 and (BU-103 or AC-141) and (ST-120 or ST-140 or ST-251 or ST-252 or EC-205 or PS-213 or PS-216); BU and AC Majors and Minors Only.

Notes: While not a pre-requisite, it is highly recommended to complete Financial Accounting AC 141 prior to taking this course. For the Class of 2023 and beyond, AC 141 is a required course (but not currently a pre-requisite).
