GTH 526 - The Worship of the ChurchA study of worship and worship practices in the Christian church from historical, anthropological, and pastoral perspectives. Included in the course are examinations of celebration in time and space as a response to the perceived presence of God, the role of ritual and symbol, a theology of worship, the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist, the Liturgy of the Hours, and Liturgy in relation to social justice and spirituality.
