GSA 563 - Sales Promotion and AdvertisingSales Promotion and Advertising focuses on the management of the entire sales promotion function. The course includes an in-depth analysis of the uses, advantages, and disadvantages of advertising, personal sales, public relations, and non-advertising promotional techniques. Through a combination of readings, case studies, and simulations, students will focus on the ways marketing managers develop a promotional mix which best achieves organizational communication goals.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: GSA 495 Marketing Management or permission of instructor.
Credits: 3 cr.
