GSA 552 - Negotiations and Labor RelationsThis is a negotiations course that focuses on grievance cases in the field of Labor Relations. Extensive classroom participation representing management and labor allows exploration of various methods of dispute settlement including contract considerations, mediation, arbitration, and grievances. The course also broadly surveys the history of the American Labor Movement, the development of labor law in the United States, and analysis of the techniques and strategies of collective bargaining both for management and labor in the private and public sectors.
