BI 331 - Ichthyology This course will address the structure, function, evolution, diversity, and ecology of fishes, including a global perspective of fishery resources. Lab will include field work and will focus on the fishes of Vermont, with a strong emphasis on the identification and biology of fishes from Lake Champlain and its tributaries.
Prerequisites: BI 151 and BI 153 with a grade of “C” or better in each; at least one intermediate-level biology course recommended.
