RS 240 - Christianity and World Religions in Dialogue This course examines Christianity in relationship to the three other major world religions: Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. We begin by reviewing the core beliefs and practices of the Christian tradition as well as Christian attitudes toward other religions. Then we discuss in the following order: Islam and the Christian-Muslim dialogue; Hinduism and the Christian-Hindu dialogue; and finally Buddhism and the Christian-Buddhist dialogue.
Prerequisites: A 100-level Religious Studies course and a 100-level Philosophy and at least sophomore standing.
