EN 305 - Shakespeare

Emphasis in this course is on the study of several representive plays by Shakespeare, including comedies, tragedies, a history play, and a late romance. Principal atterntion will be given to the published texts as literature and as scripts on which productions have been based. Performance matters will be relevant as they relate to and affect interpretation.
