RS 335 - Liturgical Arts Examines the role of the arts, including music, drama, painting, sculpture, and architecture, in the expression and celebration of Christian faith today, against a background of liturgical documents, principles of aesthetics, the criteria of the artistic genres, and the traditional relationship of the arts and religious faith in Western culture.
Prerequisites: A 200-level Religious Studies course.
Credits: 3 cr. Liberal Studies Requirement: Culture and Civilization
