Curriculum Concentration Information
The Curriculum concentration in Graduate Programs in Education combines theoretical understanding with practical applications. “Curriculum” includes many areas: philosophy, design, development, implementation, assessment, and evaluation. A thorough knowledge of current curricula in a historical context is provided with a focus on whole systems and integrative understanding, as well as specific skills which give educators and administrators the necessary understanding and strategies to develop and evaluate school curricula. From a broad base, educators will be able to delve more deeply into areas of their choice.
M.Ed. Curriculum Required Courses (18 credits)
In addition, take the following courses, unless an alternative is approved:

Students choose eighteen credit hours from graduate education courses, as approved by advisor. |
