Public History Minor
|
|
The Public History Minor will introduce students to career applications of historical studies in the fields of library science, digital humanities, historic preservation, conservation, and museum education and/or administration. The minor will emphasize and require opportunities for experiential learning in settings both within and outside the College. Students ideally will pair the Public History Minor with majors in History, American Studies, Business, or Chemistry to prepare them better for employment and/or focused graduate studies. The equivalent of five full courses must be completed for the minor; two half-courses may be combined to count as a full course.
