Required:
- Take three full courses at the 100-level in at least three of four different areas: Europe, United States, Latin America, and East Asia
- Two History electives among any category (100-, 200-, 300-/400-level full courses)
In addition:
- Choose four full course 300- or 400-level seminars in at least two separate areas (United States, Europe, Latin America, East Asia). No more than two of these electives may be transferred in from another institution.
- HI 410 - Senior Seminar
Options for an elective from another discipline:
With permission of the department chair, one cognate, historically based course in another discipline may be counted toward the major in History.
