Licensure: Elementary Education (Grades K-6)

Saint Michael’s College Graduate Programs in Education has an approved program that leads to licensing as an elementary school teacher in grades K-6. Prerequisites for Admission to Elementary Licensure Program include:
- A bachelor’s degree with mastery level evident in content areas appropriate for grade levels and with successful completion of a liberal arts and science major.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.0, and a G.P.A. of 3.0 in the major.
- Successful completion of the entrance interview.
- Evidence of successful work experience with children.
All licensure applicants must also apply to the M.Ed. or C.A.G.S. program.
