Prerequisites for Admission to Special Educator Licensure Program
- A bachelor’s degree with mastery level evident in content areas appropriate for grade levels and with successful completion of a Liberal Arts and Science major.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 3.0, and a G.P.A. of 3.0 in the major.
- Successful completion of the entrance interview.
- Evidence of successful work experience with children.
- Two years teaching experience (may include assistant or para work).
All licensure applicants must also apply to the M.Ed. or C.A.G.S. program.
