GPS 508 - Psychological Assessment II This course is an introduction to the administration and interpretation of psychological tests with an emphasis on personality tests. Students will learn how to collect relevant data using multiple sources and methods to address the questions and goals of the assessment with awareness of relevant diversity characteristics of clients. Administration and scoring procedures, underlying theoretical principles, and clinical application of tests will be reviewed in detail. Over the course of the semester students will learn how test data is used to enhance diagnostic decision-making and case conceptualization through the creation of a comprehensive assessment report.
