MA 112 - Mathematics in Context

An introduction to concepts of modern mathematics with applications in real-world contexts. Topics may include the mathematics of personal finance, mathematics of elections, graph theory, Fibonacci numbers, risk analysis, probability, logic, and game theory.

Credits: 4

Prerequisites/Restrictions: This course is not open to DS/MA/ST majors.

Core: Quantitative Reasoning

Notes: No credit given for MA-112 if credit given for MA-110.
