ES 306 - Environmental Justice An examination of environmental justice as a movement of resistance to the environmental risks experienced by economically and politically marginalized communities. Students consider the ways systemic inequalities, driven by race/ethnicity, class, or gender, lead to disproportionate environmental and health risks, and how communities respond to them.

Prerequisites/Restrictions: ES-201 or Permission of Instructor
Core: Engaging Diverse Identities
Notes: Course will count towards Justice and Sustainability as a foundation course in that track. Will count as elective for other tracks.
