ED 365 - Approaches to Teaching the Humanities For individuals interested in teaching Humanities, this course allows students to investigate the practical realities of teaching humanities at the classroom, school, and community level while learning the policies, practices and tools of culturally sustaining pedagogy and personalized learning. The nexus of the course is how the Humanities intersect with education and society. Includes at least 60 hours of focused field work in an educational setting.
Credits: 2
Prerequisites/Restrictions: Secondary Education Majors Only; ED-231, ED-271, and (ED-343 or ED-361) and Concurrent enrollment in ED-423; GPA 3.0.
Notes: This course runs concurrently with ED 423 Practicum.
