GPS 525 - Psychotherapy I: Techniques & Theory This course introduces students to microcounseling skills that serve as a foundation for the therapeutic relationship. Students will be introduced to humanistic, existential, and psychodynamic theoretical perspectives in counseling and psychotherapy. Students will video record their practice using professional helping skills to foster self-awareness and reflection.
