ANT 209 - Research Methods of Anthropology This course introduces students to the research methods used by anthropologists and sociologists when conducting qualitative research. The course will provide an overview of qualitative research, and students will gain practice in gathering data by means of interviews, ethnographic strategies, historical and oral histories. The course will also examine a variety of films and books that have used qualitative approaches.

Prerequisites/Restrictions: ANT 109 or ANT 110
Notes: Fulfills Written Communication requirement for the Anthropology track.
