EN 325 - Critical Theory An introduction to current schools of critical theory, including feminism, Marxism, psychoanalysis, deconstruction, post-structuralism, and reader response. Students will learn to read, write, and think critically. This is the second writing-intensive course in the major.
Credits: 4
Prerequisites/Restrictions: EN-123 or EN-110; Majors Only (or open to Gender Studies majors and English minors with permission of instructor); Juniors and Seniors Only. Strongly recommended that this be taken in the Junior year and prior to the Senior Seminar.
