GPS 535 - Career CounselingThrough an experiential learning process of self-assessment and theoretical exploration, this course will offer the foundations of career and lifestyle counseling. Students will engage with the material through the lens of their own experiences of career development as they are introduced to the major theoretical frameworks, ethical and inter/multicultural factors, and applications of career counseling skills and practice. (This course is required only of students pursuing the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track and results in a student earning 63 credits for the MA in Clinical Psychology degree.)
Prerequisites: GPS 507-508, GPS 513, and GPS 525-526
Credits: 3 cr.
