GPS 508 - Psychological Assessment IIThis course is a continuation of GPS 507, with an emphasis on objective and projective personality tests. Administration and scoring procedures, underlying theoretical principles, and clinical application of tests will be reviewed in detail. Over the course of the semester students will learn how test data is used to enhance diagnostic decision-making and case conceptualization through the creation of a comprehensive assessment report. The course includes a lab component during which students will gain additional hands-on experience with psychometric tests.
Prerequisites: GPS 507. GPS 516 must be taken prior to or concurrently with this course. The course is open to degree students only or with the permission of the director.
Credits: 4 cr.
