BI 230 - General Microbiology BI 230 covers foundational microbiological topics in a comprehensive 200-level course. This course surveys the diverse microbial world, emphasizing the role of prokaryotes in health and disease, the environment, and biotechnology. Laboratories focus on experimental design in bacteriology and provide a solid foundation in microbiological techniques.
Prerequisites: BI 151, BI 153 with a grade of “C” or better in each, CH 110 and CH 117.
