BI 247 - Plant Biology The course considers the evolution, diversity, structure, and internal processes of plants with an emphasis on angiosperms. The relationships humans have with plants are explored through our food stream, breeding practices, and genetic engineering. Laboratories consist of field work in The Teaching Gardens and hypothesis driven experiments.
Prerequisites: BI 151 and BI 153 with a grade of “C” or better.
