BI 106 - Topics in Cellular and Molecular Biology This lecture and laboratory course will focus on topics pertaining to the cellular level of biological organization. Examples of specific topics that may be explored in a given semester are: the cellular basis of health and disease; human genetics and inheritance; cancer; biotechnology, including the study of the moral implications of the rapidly evolving technology; the immune system; origin of life; reproduction and development.
