ED 251 - Child Development in a Culturally Responsive Classroom This course introduces students to theories about changes in the physical, cognitive, social-emotional, ethical and spiritual development of children from birth through early adolescence, as well as practical applications in educational settings. It emphasizes current cultural contexts that impact development and learning, and teaching methods which are responsive to both individual differences and the creation of community.
Prerequisites: ED 231
