RS 242 - Christians and Muslims

This course surveys interactions between Christians and Muslims in the Byzantine period. Students will read texts that explore early Islam through the eyes of the Christians of the Middle East, as well as early Muslim views of Christian theology and practices.

Prerequisites: A 100-level Religious Studies course.
