RS 231 - American Catholicism A history of the Roman Catholic community in the United States, from its beginnings in colonial America to the present. Both primary and secondary sources will be read, focusing on those events and movements which have shaped the Catholic encounter with political and social aspects of American culture.
Prerequisites: A 100-level Religious Studies course.
