LA 310 - Directed Readings in Latin Literature Examines the writings of a particular author, genre, or period. Students will translate, parse words, interpret passages, examine the style of a prose author and the metrics and diction of a poet, and consider the literary, philological, and historical background of a given author. Students write interpretive and analytical essays as well as translate from sight.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of LA 211 or equivalent experience.
