GED 693 - Art, History, and Social Sciences for the K-6 Classroom: Inquiry and ImaginationThrough critical investigation and creative problem solving participants make connections between historic events, social issues, visual culture, geography, and artistic expressions. Using a variety of texts including literature, art, and primary sources, we will examine the characteristics of Art, History, and Social Studies as described in state and national standards. By developing a community that honors multiple perspectives and intelligences, we will develop and exchange ideas for curriculum and assessment in the K-6 classroom.
Credits: 3 cr.
