BI 345 - Developmental Biology The study of the progressive changes in gene expression and cell interactions that determine the form of an organism at all points of its life cycle. Lectures consider several topics, including embryology, cell differentiation, cell communication, and spatial organization. Laboratories explore selected topics considered in lecture. The approach is experimental and a wide variety of organisms are studied.
Prerequisites: BI 151, BI 153, CH 103, CH 107.
