Independent Study & Research Coursework

Independent study and/or research opportunities are available under certain circumstances to qualified students as complements to regular coursework. A 3.0 minimum grade point average is required to enroll in Independent Study/Research courses. Such courses must be approved by the Associate Dean of the College no later than the last day of the Drop/Add period. In addition, Independent Research opportunities are available during the summer through an application process that may provide a grant for full-time research for an 8-10 week period.
