Business Administration Major

First Year

BU 113 - Foundations of Business Administration Credits: 4 cr.
MA 101 - Finite Mathematics Credits: 3 cr.

Recommendation:

Students with a good background in mathematics should consider taking one of the following instead of MA 101, Finite Mathematics:

MA 103 - Elements of Calculus Credits: 3 cr.
MA 109 - Calculus I Credits: 4 cr.

And select either:

BU 111 - Management Information Systems Credits: 3 cr.
CS 101 - Introduction to Computing Credits: 4 cr.

Either First or Second Year

BU 141 - Financial Accounting Credits: 4 cr.
EC 101 - Principles of Macroeconomics Credits: 3 cr.
EC 103 - Principles of Microeconomics Credits: 3 cr.

And select either:

BU 207 - Business Statistics Credits: 3 cr.
MA 102 - Elementary Statistics Credits: 3 cr.

Second Year

BU 143 - Managerial Accounting Credits: 3 cr.
BU 209 - Legal Environment of Business Credits: 3 cr.

Third Year

Start coursework toward minor or second major

BU 303 - Management and Organizational Behavior Credits: 4 cr.
BU 305 - Marketing Credits: 4 cr.
BU 315 - Financial Policies of Corporations Credits: 4 cr.

Either Third or Fourth Year

BU 355 - Production and Operations Management Credits: 4 cr.

Experiential options:

BU 495 - Experiential Portfolio Credits: 2 cr.
or
BU 499 - Business Administration and Accounting Internship Credits: 3 cr.

Fourth Year

Coursework toward minor or second major

BU 461 - Business Policy and Strategic Management Credits: 4 cr.
