Curriculum Concentration (M.Ed.)

The M.Ed. Curriculum Concentration combines theoretical understanding with practical applications to examine curricular philosophy, design, development, implementation, assessment, and evaluation.  It comprises 36 graduate credits, 21 of which make up the core of the program. The remaining 15 elective credits are chosen by the student with support from an advisor in order to build a comprehensive program that allows the student to pursue their desired area of focus. Up to nine credits may be transferred from another institution if they are relevant to the program concentration and approved by the advisor.

The M.Ed. Curriculum Concentration is designed with a focus on whole systems and integrative, equitable approaches, as well as specific skills which give educators and administrators the necessary understanding and strategies to develop and evaluate school curricula through an equity lens.

Students choose fifteen credit hours from graduate education courses, as approved by advisor.
