M.Ed. in School Leadership with Additional Principal Endorsement

Students with a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) and three years (minimum) teaching experience are eligible to seek the Principal Endorsement through the Saint Michael’s College Graduate Education approved program. Students take the seven courses (25 credits) listed below:

GED 511 - Fundamentals of Curriculum Credits: 3 cr.
GED 567 - Legal and Financial Management of Schools Credits: 4 cr.
GED 572 - School Leadership Credits: 3 cr.
GED 618 - From Assessment to Action: Using Data to Improve Student Learning Credits: 3 cr.
GED 621 - Supervision, Evaluation, and Teacher Development Credits: 3 cr.
GED 684 - School and Community Credits: 3 cr.
GED 688 - School Leadership Practicum Credits: 6 cr. total over 3 semesters
