The concentration should reflect the interests of the student and must be proposed to the Environmental Studies program steering committee for final approval. Ordinarily, the concentration proposal process must be completed by the fall semester of the junior year. The concentration planning is done with the student’s academic advisor and in the ES 201 course. When appropriate, a student may choose to count two breadth courses as part of the four-course concentration.
